Flooding

There are a variety of factors which cause flooding. Obstruction of drainage systems, heavy rainfall and ground which has little capacity to absorb water are some of the most common. 

Volcanic eruption

During a volcanic eruption, ash, gases and rocks can be thrown out of the volcano violently, but sometimes lava flows gently out in streams instead.

Tornadoes

Tornadoes are rotating columns of air which extend downwards from a thunderstorm to the ground. The most violent ones can pull trees out of the ground and move cars hundreds of metres.
