1、as well as（短语）和，以及，既……又

同义词：as well as = both ... and ...., not only .... but also ....

This panda is active as well as healthy. 这只熊猫活泼又健康。

区分：as well 用于肯定句句尾，意为 "也，同样"。

I love Chinese and I love English as well. 我喜爱语文，我也喜欢英语。

同义词：as well = too, also；

相对的词是either，用于否定句句尾，表示 “也(不)”。

Mary can't go and I can't either. 玛丽不能去，我也不能。

2、spend（v.）花费

用法：spend time/money (in) doing .... 花时间或金钱去做某事

spend time/money on sth 花时间/金钱在某事上

My brother spend too much time watching TV. 我弟弟花太多时间看电视。

区分：take 花费（时间）

用法：it takes sb some time to do ...... 做某事花了某人....时间

3、be good at（短语）擅长

同义词：be good at doing .... = do well in ....

Monkeys are good at climbing. 猴子很擅长攀爬。

4、look for（短语）寻找

同义词：look for = find

Bats look for food at night. 蝙蝠在晚上寻找食物。

5、even (adv) （表示强调或比较）甚至还包括，连....都...

It is cold in the Arctic even in summer. 在北极，即使夏天也很冷。

6. low（adj）（高度）低的，（数量）少的

They were speaking in low voices. 他们在低声说话。

The number of pandas is low. 熊猫的数量很少。
