1. 新增的名词中有一部分有很明显的时代性，如具有时代特征的app, podcast, wifi, bestseller等，讲生活与学科融为一体，体现了语言的与时俱进与生活化。

2. 新增了许多短语，如come back, give back, get dressed等。学习语言不仅需要记住单个的词汇，而要从词组和句子着手。比如一个汉字“烂”，有很多种意思，“烂苹果”“这个人是个烂货”“山花烂漫”，意由境生，放在不同的语境中意思就不同。

所以，学习词汇的最终目的是用在句子里，我们以终为始，就要通过句子学单词，词汇表只能作为辅助，做复习和巩固使用。

3. 新增词形变化，在原有词汇的基础上，新表中补充了该词的衍生词。增加了前缀或者后缀，如在旧表中有enjoy(v.)，在新表中增加了形容词变形enjoyable。
