口语卷一共两题，考试时间为8-10分钟，得分45分。改革创新后的口语重视考生个人见解的表述，更强调发散思维，能拓宽探讨。

KET口语考试的方式是2对2，即两位考生对两位考官。

一名考官叫interlocutor，承担核心考试，和考生会话；另一名考官叫assessor，只承担得分，不参加沟通交流。

考官会从英语的语法和语汇、语音及互动交流沟通这几个层面各自对考生开展得分，两位考生的评分不会受到另一方主要表现的影响。

改革创新后KET口语转变：

新版本KET的口语Part 1一部分时间减短，由5-6分钟变成3-4分钟。

Part 2一部分与PET口语Part 2题目一样，情景感更强。

新版本的口语考试会让两位考生依据得出的插图来开展相互之间话题讨论，考官会在完毕前问两个人各一个难题。

除开题目转变外，新版本的Part 2还分为了两个阶段，第二个环节考官会根据图片向考生各问两个扩展难题，考生必须阐述自身的见解并表明原因。

改革后的KET口语部分添加了图片，提升了与考官间的互动交流，对考生的语言表达运用能力调查明确提出了高些的规定。

Speaking Part 1-Short Questions

考生需要回答关于自己个人信息的一些问题。一般是两个简短问题，常见话题 为：日常生活，兴趣爱好等，最后为一个长问题。

在这个部分，考生需要与搭档一起完成一个任务，例如讨论图片、解决问题或进行角色扮演。

步骤

Phase 1：考官说出具体题目，并给予题目图片，两位考生根据5幅图和题目要求进行讨论。

Phase 2：考官会根据 Phase 1 的内容，分别对两位考生进行延展提问，每位考生会被问到两个问题。

①考官会给考生五张关于一个话题的图片，然后让考生看完图片后互相讨论图片的内容：

(考官把画着要讨论的话题的小册子摊开放在两位考生面前，并告诉考生图片是关于什么话题的。)

②紧接着考官告诉两位考生之间需要讨论什么（喜欢/不喜欢、同意/不同意)，并给出原因或说明理由：

T：Do you like ..................? Say why or why not. I’ll say that again.

Allow a minimum of 1 minute (maximum of 2 minutes) before moving on to the following questions.

(考生约有2分钟的时间思考，然后进行问题对答。)

Phase 2：扩展难题

考官收走图片，还会继续问2个与话题讨论有关的更深层次的难题，可能是选择疑问句或特殊疑问句，考生轮着回应。

卷面总分：（语法词汇+语音语调+互动交流）X2+整体表现X3=45分。

假设考生卷面分是45分，换算成150分，达到B1水平；

假设考生卷面分是40分，换算成139分，达到A2水平；

假设考生卷面分是27分，那么换算后的分数就是120分，是KET口语通过的最低标准。

1.就算听不清楚也不要紧张。

在任何考试中，紧张都会影响发挥。要相信，你听不清楚的内容，你的同伴也未必能听清楚。所以，放心大胆地问：“Can you say that again, please?”。

2.让答案内容更丰富。

比如，考官问：“Do you study English at school?”，不要只简单地回答：“Yes, I do.”，可以补充一些细节，比如：“Yes, I do. I have English classes three times a week. But English is not my favourite subject. I like Science, it’s fun.”。这样可以让你的回答更加生动、具体，也能展现你的语言能力。

3.忘词别尴尬。

在口语考试中，忘记某个词语是很常见的情况，考生可以用描述的方式来表达这个词的意思。比如，当你想说“garden”（花园）却突然想不起来时，可以这样说：“It’s part of our house, but it is outside. We can plant flowers and play in here.”（它是我们房子的一部分，但是在室外。我们可以在这里种花和玩耍。）通过这种方式，你可以有效地避免因忘词而导致的尴尬，同时也能让考官理解你的意思。

4.一定要给你的搭档说话的机会。

大家参加考试的目的都是为了通过并取得高分，如果你的水平明显高于另一位考生，不要一味地占据主导地位，而是要给对方留出表达的空间。在第二部分的讨论中，你可以适当地引导搭档，让他/她有机会发表自己的观点和想法。这样做不仅能体现你的团队合作精神，还能让考官看到你们之间的互动和交流,，也会增加你的分数。
