How much television do you watch in a week?

As a matter of fact, I spent little time watching TV. I can find almost everything I want to watch with my phone, whether they are news reports or serial shows. I only watch TV once or twice a week with my grandparents, who still prefer this traditional media.

What kinds of programmes do you like and dislike?

I enjoy watching reality shows, particularly the ones with comedians. Programmes like those bring me much pleasure. The programme I hate is the weather forecast, because their forecasts often turn out to be wrong.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of watching television?
【考官原创答案】
On the one hand, watching TV does make us more knowledgeable. For example, I learned much about the wildlife from documentaries on TV. On the other hand, watching TV can consume a great amount of time. Many programmes have no value and are just big wastes of our time.

What are a parent's responsibilities regarding television?
【考官原创答案】
While children are watching TV, their parents are supposed to accompany them, in case that there may be misleading content. If this happens, the parents need to turn the TV off or teach their kids what's right or wrong. Besides, parents must stop the kids from watching TV for too long.
